An Enchanting Evening

I had the pleasure of having a session with Morgan a few weeks ago.  We met at the American Yacht Club in Rye where her family are members.  I had never been to this Club but imagined it would be a fabulous spot for a senior session.  As expected, it was simply gorgeous.  We met in the early evening and could not have asked for more perfect weather.

I met Morgan years ago when she and my daughter were kindergarten classmates.  I had not seen Morgan in quite a few years.  She had certainly grown up from my memory of her as an adorable young girl.  She is a classic beauty with a smile that could make anyone feel happier.  She is also quite tall and I told her repeatedly how lucky she was to have such height.

Morgan was a joy to work with.  We had a wonderful time exploring the Club.  She knew all the good spots for photos because her family had had their pictures taken at the Club multiple times.  Good thing I had stretched that morning because some spots required me to climb and balance on some uneven rocks in precarious positions.  It was all worth it because Morgan could not have looked more beautiful with the water and magical sunlight surrounding her.

Toward the end of our session, Morgan’s parents Hilary and Jan arrived and we were able to get some family shots in.  I loved catching up with Hilary and Jan and reminiscing about our girls’ early years together.  Time has certainly flown.  I think the three of us were feeling very sentimental.

I wish Morgan an amazing senior year at Greenwich Academy.  This bright and stunning senior is sure to be off to incredible things in her future.
