Sunset at Tod's Point
A couple of weeks ago I had a session with Emily at Tod’s Point. Emily is a ’21 graduate of Sacred Heart Greenwich. Our originally scheduled session had to be rescheduled due to a thunderstorm rolling in exactly when we met up at the beach! I had a feeling we would have much better luck the second time around and we did! It was a spectacular evening.
I was happy when Emily decided to have her session at the beach. Although Tod’s Point is in my town, my family has never taken enough advantage of it. It is a bit of hike from our home but every time I go, I am always in awe of how beautiful Tod’s Point is.
Emily was a wonderful model. We had the best time moving all around the beach which has such a great variety of spots for photos. We met an hour or so before sunset and we used every minute we had. The sky continued to change color as we moved about which made for a great variety of images for Emily’s gallery.
Although I have known Emily for many years because she was a classmate and friend of my daughter, it was fun to have some one-on-one time. I honestly love spending time with impressive young people like Emily. I am not sure why but they all seem more worldly and mature than I did at the same age! Emily is an accomplished swimmer and clearly hardworking. She has spent her summer lifeguarding at a day camp in town and giving private swimming lessons. She will be a freshman this year at Middlebury College so clearly has the brains to match her obvious beauty. It was such a treat to photograph Emily and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this young woman!
