The Striking Squash Player

I met Penny at her home on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in September.  Penny’s home is by a lake and the light was just perfect.  In addition to her home having a picture-perfect setting, Penny’s family has their very own squash court.  Penny and her younger sisters and father all play squash competitively.  I had the opportunity to check out the cool court.  As a bonus I was able to photograph Penny and her younger sisters Madeline and Charlotte inside.  It was clear these three sisters all have a love of the game. 

After a few more shots with her sisters, Penny and I spent the rest of the session focusing on her.  I was impressed by her poise and graceful manner.  I imagine she is fierce on the squash court but off court she struck me as an elegant, intelligent young woman with an absolutely stunning smile.  She was easy to talk with and her relaxed, friendly manner was evident in all the images.  It was truly a pleasure to photograph Penny and capture this special time in her life.  I am confident that Penny will be off to great things – both on and off the squash court!
